This site is dedicated to the memory of Angus Job.

Angus Job was a very popular and friendly gentleman, known by many across the country and he will be sadly missed.

His unexpected death age 61 in mid-January was a shock to all who knew him, Angus had not experienced any symptoms and passed away after a brief stay in hospital, unfortunately there was nothing doctors could do to help as he had experienced a large brain haemorrhage.

On behalf of Angus’s family, we would like to thank you all for your kind words and support at this sad time, our thanks extend to the Glan Clwyd hospital staff in the Intensive Care Unit, the North Wales Ambulance Service for their quick response and to the Welsh Ambulance Control Centre for their support and reassurance whilst they sent help.

Since Angus’s passing we (his family) would like to support research into the causes, treatment, prevention and cure of neurological diseases in the hopes that other individuals and their families will be helped.

Angus's careers in farming and haulage have led him to travel far and wide, he always had a friendly word to say to all he met and helped everyone he could, be it by giving directions, sharing his own experiences or by sharing the location of the best truck stops! His love of photography means we have many great shots of family occasions by which to remember him. Angus is survived by a wife, mother, two brothers, three children and four grandchildren.

We are all immensely proud of Angus and his never ending generous spirit which he demonstrated to the end by donating his organs to help others.

I am deeply saddened to hear of my dear friend Angus's passing. He was a wonderful, decent and caring man. From day one when I met this great man it was so easy to be his friend. We used to talk, laugh and share some great moments, which I will always have with me and treasure. God bless you Mr Angus, thank you for the wonderful memories you will never be forgotten. your friend John (Yoee) XX

I was first introduced to Angus back in 2003 when I met his youngest son Tom. Ever since that day he and Jane welcomed me into their family and made me feel like one of their own - the best in-laws I could have wished for. Angus has always been such a support to myself and Tom helping us out whenever we needed and offering us his wise words of advice too. Angus and I could talk for hours on long walks when we were slugging behind. He was such an incredible dad who raised such a wonderful family and an incredible gramps who our two daughters adored, nothing was ever too much trouble. I am eternally grateful for everything he has done for me and all the momories that we made which I will never forget. It was a privilege to have known you and an honorary to have been able to call you my father-in- law. You have been taken far too soon and we will all miss you so so much. Sleep tight Captain Angus
